Theme Note
‘Rights’ are socially and legally approved ways of action in a civilized society. A right is always considered beneficial for the individual and the society. Rights should be socially accepted, protected and recognized by a given community. Rights are usually considered to be the foundation for Societal Institutions and the awareness helps to build up a dialectical relationship between the people and the society. UN has unanimously declared 2030 agenda for sustainable development and touched the trigger for fundamental changes in politics and society. The UN agenda is ambitious which is unique with its transformational vision to link it with human rights obligations. Hence, any kind of dialectical interaction or debate on a topic that determines justice, ethical principles, objectivism, society and culture appears to be meaningful in a modern Globalised society.
